Project Overview

In partnership with a rural Nigerian community, EWB @ Ohio State designed and helped construct a multipurpose community center. The facility serves as a classroom, health post, and gathering space — filling a critical gap in community infrastructure.

Design Process

Student engineers conducted a site assessment and soil analysis before developing the structural design. The final design uses locally sourced masonry and a reinforced concrete frame, reviewed and stamped by our professional engineer advisor.
